This might be the job for you. We are currently looking for two nursing assistants (undersköterska) for night shifts on our orthopedic wards. Here, you will become an important part of the team ensuring patients receive safe and secure care around the clock.

Our operations consist of two orthopedic inpatient wards. Ward 17 treats patients who arrive via emergency care, while Ward 18 cares for patients before and after scheduled surgeries. Here, you will meet patients with fractures, osteoarthritis, and other orthopedic diagnoses. The work is varied; no two nights are the same as patient needs can change rapidly. The role requires independence, strong prioritization skills, and close collaboration with your colleagues. Your ideas are welcome here. • Provide person-centered care to our orthopedic patients.
• Work with pre- and post-operative care.
• Perform standard nursing assistant tasks such as blood sampling, wound dressing, and mobilization.
• Participate in improvement and development work.

Requirements:

• Proof of professional title (Nursing Assistant degree).
• Experience working night shifts in a 24/7 operation.
• Inpatient care experience.
• Emergency care experience.
• Good proficiency in Swedish (both written and spoken).
• Strong documentation skills.
